Today our Te Reo Maori focus is around the seaons. Here is my learing

This is a story about Mana and his best friend Jackson who has moved to Auckland. Mana is learning to manage his emotions.

this week we were given a poem about a snail by john Malone. It had metaphors and we had to choose one to

illustrate.

 

Monday 20th May 2024 

 

Yummy so good oh Hi there I didn’t see you. Do you want to tell you about an amazing weekend? Let’s get into it. On Saturday Morning my Mum told me to get up and get ready to go to a secret placel.So I woke  up and got out of bed. Got ready and went down stairs. On the table I saw yummy french toast. My Mum is the best because she makes the yummiest food in the world and she is really happy about my grades.

 

Then, I hopped in the car and we zoomed to our first stop. My Mum did all the shopping in the first stop I mean it.After 5 hours later I got a bit hungry so we went to our next stop Subway.I got a 6 inch one and my Mum got a long 1 foot. My one was a bit hot because I put in sweet chilly. Then I got vanilla ice cream it was so good! And then I went home in my car. That was the end of the bet day in my weekend. 

Friday 17th May 

 

Once There was a 10 year old girl named Alia with nice long chocolate brown hair, rose light pink lips,brown eyes and she was wearing a pink t-shirt and blue pants.She likes reading books and loves going outside to play in the park. One day Alia was really bored So Alia asked her Mother “ can we go to the library?” Her Mum said okay. When Alia went inside the library with her Mum she really hoped to read the owl diaries 

 

But suddenly there was a strange noise coming from the other side of the library. So Alia decided to investigate. When she went over there to see what was going on. So Alia what in the corner. Then Alia so a unicorn crying. Alia asked “What’s wrong?” The unicorn replied I’m sad because I’ve lost my book where i came from. Alia loved unicorn books too and owl diaries 

 

She knew what book she was in but she has to find it.Alia checked on every book that has a unicorn in it. Finally Alia found the book and it was time to say goodbye to the unicorn. Bye unicorn said Alia. the unicorn smiled.

Monday 6th May  Should Animals be kept in the zoo? 

 

No they should not be kept in the zoos  oh hi there do you want  to listen to my opinion

Let’s get into it. I believe that Animals should not be kept in zoos and here are my reasons. First, animals should be free from cages and stay in the wild.

 

Did you know that every year 50 animals have died in zoos? According to freedom for animals, the second is that animals like cheetahs,tigers,and lions need to run a lot but in the zoos there is not that much space. They need to have a big area to run around and be free and wild. But if they can’t run in zoos that much, this can be bad for animals’ health.

 

Last, I believe that animals should not be kept in the zoo because of the Miserable place it could be for animals. According to Freedom for animals in 2010 there was a wallaby that was dead and left to rot by staff at tweddle farm zoo for 2 weeks.The zoo refused to carry out a post to find   out why the animal died and that’s why animals should not be kept in the zoo.

Today me and my class did a match the word in te reo Maori.

Tuesday 30th April My Holiday 

 

Yum! It’s so good, oh hello , I didn’t see you. Do you want me to tell you about my amazing holiday? Let’s get into it.

 

On Friday the 25th April was my uncle’s birthday the same day as anzac. He said to come at 6:00pm and dressed in nice clothes,so we did. 6:00 pm we arrived at the place  he told us.It was really big. We met everyone that was at the birthday party.

 

Then, We sat down on the chairs and drank some juice or soda.I always drink water because it’s my favourite drink. On the table there was some food ( Entrees) . It was so good and yummy.Now the party started, yes!. So there was a guy who  asked questions to the birthday Man. 

 

Somewhere funny and some were not.when he was done with it then they said it was time to cut the cake.Somewas chocolate and the other half was vanilla.

 

After 8:00 pm the speaker told everybody that the dance floor was open. So all the parents went to dance and all the kids and I played tag. Then I thought it was time to eat the cake so I asked the man, is it time to eat? What do you think? Yes,said the man and said “ it was time to eat the cake”.Each one got vanilla ice cream and some cake.

 

Last, 9:00pm A man came to me and asked how do you feel about going back to school? Well I said “ I feel sad because I will have to  wake up early in the morning” and I’m Happy because I will see my friends. And This was My favourite part of my holiday.

 

Today we learned how to make a fish using  google drawing
